Oh my goodness. This book was sooo good. I'm sad it's over. Good thing there's more books in this series - I am definitely checking them out!
First off - Ani fell in love, which, to be honest, I was totally suspecting. I've only read a couple romance books before (Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice), so I'm not an expert on good romances in fiction but I did really like this one.
Secondly - Geric WAS NOT who he claimed to be! I had guessed his real identity and it was pretty satisfactory to have guessed correctly. There were just a few things that he said that didn't line up. Which is why I had initially suspected he was hiding his true identity.
This book concluded a bit too soon for my tastes. But it did end in a way that was satisfying so I guess that's good.
Even as I tried to save this book as much as possible, it only lasted me a mere 10 days. 🤣
Well, unfortunately I'll have give this book a mere 5 star rating. In my opinion, it should definitely get a six. 😜 This is for an overall rating of 5 stars. Definitely recommend!
